Synopsis
Bachelor of Architecture thesis research on Buckminster Fuller’s concept of “vector equilibrium,” through an examination of Fuller’s first built geodesic dome at the Ford Factory Rotunda in Michigan. The research culminated in a series of models, a book with essays analyzing the limits of Fuller’s concepts, and custom software that enables the creation of geodesics beyond “vector equilibrium.”
