Rome Process

Synopsis:

A series of maps are created based on the time of relative journeys within Rome. A specific sequence, from one port in the Aurelian wall circuit to a series of given spaces within the city is mapped, and formal fragments of the city are displaced based on time scales. Speculative journeys are made between the forms of the fragmented city, programatic sequences and forms are rapidly evolved, and the temporal city of “Rome Primed” emerges coexisting with the “real” Rome.
